		<abstract>This paper presents the RTV Project, a Tridimensional Visualization Package for Medicine. RTV incorporates powerful 3D visualization techniques with visibility treatment, multiple classification tables assignment and true volume rendering algorithms based on ray-casting paradigm. RTV was designed to be highly portable and to run on heterogeneous networks, a typical hospital computer environment.</abstract>
